Neil started ShopForInsurance.ca as a tool to help individuals and businesses shop for Life Insurance and Financial Services without the usual confusion and aggravation.  As an Independent Life Insurance Broker associated with Financial Horizons Group, he can truly put his clients first, not the profitablility of an employer.  

Neil earned his Honours degree in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa.  After over a decade in the service, retail sales, and children's charity fields, he made the move to financial services, becoming licensed with the FSCO in 2002.  As an Ottawa Life Insurance Broker, he started his business primarily as a resource for mortgage brokers seeking the best mortgage insurance coverage and rates for their clients.  He has since expanded his business to offer a broad range of insurance and financial services to clients all over Ontario and Canada.

In 2008, he moved his business to Kemptville, Ontario (south of Ottawa) where he has lived since 2004 with his wife Krista and his son Nolan.  Away from the office, Neil enjoys boating, playing hockey, basketball and snowboarding.
